Hello, my name is Marina Mitrovic,
I invent EPIC hotel brands with
the sense of an artist & mind of an engineer.
Being comfortable with the chaos of human experience & finding order in it, is my superpower.

Striking, innovative, relevant hotel experience with neat execution, without uncertainty and drama.
As an artist, I'm a passionate observer of human life experience. And the engineer in me, is thrilled about untangling complexity.
I have degrees in economics and aerospace engineering which help me easily understand any system in detail. And those are the well-earned skills I am proud of. However, I have no idea where my true superpower - creating immersive experiences - comes from. It's been around for as long as I can remember! For real! As a 6-years-old, I used to organise our family house in order to reflect our values and routines, corner by corner, it had to be convenient, easy to use, and to tell a story about us! It's like a way of thinking by default!
During my student days, I had opportunity to live in Rhode Island USA and Toulouse & Paris in France. And that is when everything came together, the USA was exactly the place where I fell in love with hospitality. Summer 2014 I got the opportunity to work in a Relais & Chateaux boutique hotel with enormously high standards.
Ever since then, my path has always been a mix of hospitality adventures and aerospace projects, funnily enough both happening around the world.
Like that wasn't enough, in summer 2020 I decided to found a fashion brand selling women business t-shirts ("Michelle - the elegant t-shirt") and storytelling silk scarves hand painted by myself.
But ten years later, only one thing stood the test of the time. Moreover, it grew and developed into unique methodology which today we use at Remarkable Boutique Hotels to help our clients stand out in the market, increase demand, profits and return guests.
This is my happy place where I am fully committed and I truly enjoy working with small independent property owners.
Fun fact: I lived in 9 countries around the world, from Sweden to New Zealand and I'm currently based in Dubai. You will find me learning to kite-surf & figure skate because those excite me and scare me at the same time and I love exploring that feeling.
The big aspiration is to settle the foundation for sport lessons for schoolchildren and help local artists around the world sell their pieces globally.
My mission with Remarkable Boutique Hotels is to transform luxury in hospitality by teaching innovative guest experience practices.
