You CAN’T amaze people who are not into what you have to offer.

You attract guests who think ALIKE by communicating your values and emphasising specificities in your offer.

Knowing your guests starts with knowing you and your hotel and communicating it CLEARLY.

Now that you have your ideal guests coming your way, the ones who like what you communicate and offer, you can start getting to KNOW THEM BETTER.

Again, start from your way of doing hospitality.

What is important in your hotel? What ideals do you strive to bring to life in your hotel?

THEN make a list of what information you need to know about your guests, in order to facilitate these in their stay and make them part of the story.

Use automated ways to find out more about them when booking and before they come. Give them some tips and guidance in return. Establish a connection that won’t overwhelm them but support them.

And NEVER ever make them feel like they are being investigated. LISTEN. There is always more to listen to. Only if we want.

And remember for the next time, write it down, have systems.
