Putting your mission, vision, values on the wall of employees’ cafeteria isn’t their purpose

TOO OFTEN, staff areas are “decorated” with corporate messages and mottos no one takes seriously.

I understand it's a tactical thing since these messages can act subconsciously. Employees seeing it all the time will remember some of it.

And they just might. But, they will also connect it with FRUSTRATION. So your company values will not be shown with PASSION but OBLIGATION.

How about giving your employees a REAL BREAK and you taking a REAL RESPONSIBILITY of actually implementing these?

A bodybuilder’s muscles grow when they are resting. It’s the same with the brain.

Don’t be afraid to introduce totally different activities for your employees while on break.

Things like TABLE TENNIS or PICADO or anything really that will inspire them to give their ABSOLUTE BEST when they go back on the floor.

Best ideas come without force. Create an environment great enough so you don’t need subconscious messages spread around. SPREAD real motivation, freedom and fun.

That’s when they will CHOOSE to stand for a company and follow your vision.
